Hey there, honestly was more of a funny game then a scary one, however there were some pretty subtle spooky moments, like the guy sitting by the "I can see you note" or the note changing after you go through the kitchen a 2nd time.
All in all, enjoyed it, do love me the monsters wacky design
Thanks for checking it out! Yeah I agree. After seeing what free 3d monster assets I can choose from, I'm definitely gonna have to learn 3d modeling lol. Glad you enjoyed!
Hello there! I gave it a try and had a great time with your game! I find it difficult to find games with good jumpscares and yours has some good moments, really enjoyed it! Only to make a suggestion, it would be very cool if the jumpscares had louder sound :)
You can watch my gameplay here if you want ^^ Thanks so much for the experience! ❤
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I agree. Unfortunately most of my experience with horror in anything is youtube scary pop ups as a kid lol. I'll definitely be looking more into horror games/movies to get a better idea of horror in general
How interesting! This horror game reminds me of Suite 776. Everything was good except for the jumpscares. I feel like it needs more improvement but it's still decent.
Thanks for the input! Yeah I agree about the jumpscares. I'm definitely gonna look into more horror games to get more ideas. That Suite 776 game looks really good! I definitely see some similarities and I'll probably be using that as reference
This was great bro, an entertaining and fun to play through. 3/3 jumpscares got me and I managed to startle myself even more as my ring light fell during the playthrough. Funny thing being that I was even anticipating the twist end/jumpscare.. The entire experience left me on the edge of my seat, Oddly enough, the goofy models for the monsters in the game made it even creepier than I thought it would. It gave me a little laugh afterwards as well because it isn't normally something that would scare you! Although it was very very short, I had fun and that is what counts the most. I also like the red on black text here on the page, really gives it an extra little spook factor lol..
Glad to hear! Yeah the monsters were the most concerning thing for me when thinking of making a horror game since I knew I'd have to rely on free assets. I'm gonna have to learn 3d modeling after realizing what free assets have to offer lol. Cool to hear you like the page colors. I definitely adjusted it a lot to get a nice horror aesthetic
Very interesting indeed. I like the fact that there were multiple "entities" encountered in this playthrough. It almost felt like each segment was its own little nightmare. Great game!
Loved this gam e! Not bad for a short horror story. I just wish there was more to it! The jump scares definitely got me though! Gameplay begins around 6:00
Honestly a well crafted game, the jump scares didn't get me but I am probably the hardest person to scare. Check out my game play here for a good time ;) Next game you make, hmu and maybe I can get scared
This game... That last jumpscare, I saw it coming but for some reason it still got me... And it got me. I kicked my foot right into my desk and nearly broke it, its beyond purple. This was a really fun to play, I really enjoyed the atmosphere! This game was the second game featured in the video below, thank you for the scares they genuinely got me good.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree. I didn't think it needed it at first, but thanks to a lot of feedback I can see how much that would actually help. Glad you enjoyed!
Appreciate the feedback! This game taught me that planning matters A LOT. So it's nice to see feedback that reinforces that. Thanks for checking it out!
Previously it had all platforms, mac and linux included. I changed it after he pointed out. Weird since Unity's build compiler says it should work for mac, but I'll settle with just having it work with windows for now.
Pretty spooky game you got here. I really enjoyed it and it got me a couple of times with the jumpscares. I did a playthrough of this game and I will link it below if you are interested in watching.
Ah, I see the problem. It's super late for me right now so I'll upload a working version in the morning. For now, adjust the mouse sensitivity in the options to fix it. Thanks for the heads up!
I actually enjoyed this game I think you were a bit hard on yourself in the first nightmare dev log there are some well placed scares and the graphics are nice. I'm not sure if it was on my end or the games but the default sound is a bit quiet for a horror game and I believe there could have been better sound effects for atmosphere/scares but that's my main complaint. More story would be cool as well! my play through here:
Hey, thanks for the input! Yeah I agree with putting more atmospheric sounds after looking at the finished result. Definitely gonna look more into that. Glad you enjoyed!

Some of the more ambient horror like the noises were great, but I feel like the jumpscares were a bit too obvious.
Gotta admit though, the fake out did startle me.Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I agree. Unfortunately most of my experience with horror in anything is youtube scary pop ups as a kid lol. I'll definitely be looking more into horror games/movies to get a better idea of horror in general

Short and sweet. Could use some creepy music to build up tension and make the player uncomfortable at all times though.
Thanks for the input! Yeah I agree. I never noticed how much atmospheric sounds were needed, but the feedback has really helped!
I really loved the game for the way it was made and hoping for more atmospheric sounds in the game
Thanks for the feedback! I agree. I didn't think it needed it at first, but thanks to a lot of feedback I can see how much that would actually help. Glad you enjoyed!
Don’t worry about it man it was really fun I hope you enjoyed the video
The game was ok, theres wasn't really much there but it looked good. Keep it up!
Appreciate the feedback! This game taught me that planning matters A LOT. So it's nice to see feedback that reinforces that. Thanks for checking it out!
Game doesnt work on mac it just opens the game folder and its a .exe file anyways so it wont launch on mac
Hmm, I'll have to look into why that is. I updated the download to make it say it only works for windows now. Thanks for letting me know!
dude it says on the download shit its for windows
Previously it had all platforms, mac and linux included. I changed it after he pointed out. Weird since Unity's build compiler says it should work for mac, but I'll settle with just having it work with windows for now.

The mouse not being detected happened to me at the beginning but I just re-started the game and it worked like a charm.
Very nice game, I enjoyed it! here's my gameplay and if you subscribe to my channel I would appreciate it very much :)
thank you for sharing your creation!
Awesome, interesting how restarting fixed it but good thing it did! Glad you enjoyed!
Hello , problem in game , mouse no detected ????
